Maryland State Builders Association, chartered in 1964, is a statewide affiliation of local builder associations whose members include builders, remodelers, developers, and related businesses. They are dedicated to promoting and influencing state legislation and regulations that will provide a suitable environment to ensure the vitality of the building industry, and result in a benefit for its members as well as the citizens of the State of Maryland.

About The NAHB

The National Association of Home Builders is a Washington-based trade association representing more than 235,000 members involved in residential building, remodeling, multifamily construction, property management, subcontracting, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing, and other aspects of residential and light commercial construction. Known as "the voice of the housing industry," NAHB is affiliated with more than 800 state and local home builders associations around the country. NAHB's builder members will construct 80 percent of the more than 1.45 million new housing united projected for 2007.
